Finlyst Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Finlyst's AI-powered financial data tools, including our web app, APIs, and MCP/ChatGPT integrations. By using the services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Acceptance of Terms
- •These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of finlyst.co, our APIs, and MCP/agent integrations (including ChatGPT). By using the services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- •If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
Service Description
- •Finlyst, Inc. provides AI-powered tools to access and analyze public financial data (e.g., SEC filings, income statements, cash flows, balance sheets, earnings transcripts) through our web app, APIs, and MCP/ChatGPT integrations.
- •The services may generate charts, summaries, and other outputs based on your prompts and retrieved data.
Eligibility and Accounts
- •You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher) to use the services.
- •You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- •You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.
Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
- •We offer a 15-day free trial followed by a subscription of $9 per month unless otherwise stated at signup.
- •Billing is handled by our payment processor. Taxes may apply. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
- •You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund past charges unless required by law.
- •We may change pricing with prior notice; changes take effect on the next billing cycle.
Acceptable Use
- •Do not misuse the services, interfere with their operation, or attempt to access them using methods other than provided interfaces.
- •Do not use the services to violate law, infringe intellectual property, or submit malicious, unlawful, or sensitive personal data.
- •Automated or high-volume use must comply with any rate limits we set.
Content and Data
- •You retain ownership of prompts, inputs, and outputs you provide or receive, subject to third-party terms (including model providers).
- •You grant Finlyst a license to process your inputs and outputs to operate, improve, and secure the services.
- •Public financial data may contain inaccuracies; you are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them.
- •Avoid submitting sensitive personal data; the services are not designed for protected health information or other regulated data.
Third-Party Providers and AI Models
- •The services rely on third-party model providers (e.g., LLMs) and data sources. Their terms and policies apply in addition to these Terms.
- •We may transmit prompts and contextual data (such as tickers, parameters, or excerpts) to third-party providers to fulfill your requests.
Intellectual Property
- •Finlyst owns the services and underlying technology, including trademarks, branding, UI, and proprietary datasets not in the public domain.
- •You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the services except as permitted by law.
Confidentiality
- •If you receive non-public information from Finlyst, you must keep it confidential and use it only as permitted under these Terms.
- •Public company data obtained via the services is not confidential.
Security
- •We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no system is 100% secure.
- •Notify us promptly at privacy@finlyst.co if you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue.
Disclaimers
- •The services and outputs are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- •Financial data and generated insights may contain errors or be incomplete; do not rely solely on them for investment, legal, or accounting decisions.
- •We do not provide investment, legal, or tax advice.
Limitation of Liability
- •To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finlyst and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
- •Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the services is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts paid by you to Finlyst for the services in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
- •You will indemnify and hold harmless Finlyst from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.
Modifications and Termination
- •We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the services or for legal reasons. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
- •We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the services. You may stop using the services at any time.
Governing Law; Disputes
- •These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict of laws principles.
- •Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
